Born and raised in Okotoks, Stephanie has a profound dedication to inclusive education and has devoted over 20 years to supporting and inspiring children with diverse learning needs. Holding a degree in Special Education from the University of Alberta, she is passionate about creating a nurturing and accessible learning environment for every child. Stephanie’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child has unique strengths and abilities, and it is her mission to help them thrive.
Stephanie was a classroom teacher in Calgary for nearly 15 years, mainly working with children who had complex and diverse learning needs. She has a strong background in autism and neurodiversity in the classroom.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. You will often find Stephanie and her family taking in the many local community events. The Okotoks parade is one of their favorite family events. She enjoys all things Disney and is usually dreaming up her next Disney vacation.
