Grant brings a wealth of experience to his role as Board Chair at MaxECS. Originally from Winnipeg, Grant holds a Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from the University of Calgary. With a career spanning various cities including Winnipeg, Brandon, Regina, Prince Albert, Saskatoon, and Calgary since 1979, Grant has garnered extensive expertise in business and leadership.
Grant’s commitment to community involvement is evident through his service on several boards, including Sorrento Centre BC (2010-2016), the Alberta Sports and Recreation Association for the Blind (2015-2023), and the Anglican Refugee Committee (2012-2024). As Chair of MaxECS, Grant’s term spans from 2023 to 2025, where his leadership and dedication will undoubtedly contribute to the organization’s continued success.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Grant has been an active member of the Toastmaster program since 1975, serving at the district level for half of that time. He is a devoted father to three children in Calgary, having lost his wife, Joan, in 2023.
