Dominique is an experienced educator with a passion for fostering student growth and success. Her teaching career began 25 years ago with the Calgary Board of Education and her years with them were spent in a high needs elementary school. Dominique has taught students in grades 2-6, creating dynamic, engaging learning environments tailored to each child’s unique needs. In her leadership role as an Assistant Principal, Dominique worked to support both teachers and students, ensuring that every student, particularly those at risk, received the attention and resources they needed to succeed.
As a dedicated lifelong learner, Dominique is committed to professional development and embracing new educational challenges to stay at the forefront of teaching practices. She strives to maintain a strong child-centered focus, always prioritizing the well-being and growth of each individual student. With a proven track record of collaboration, innovation, and empathy, Dominique continues to be inspired by the families and children she works with.
Dominique currently lives in Calgary with her husband and two daughters. As a family they enjoy being active in a variety of sports, camping and travelling.
